OK, so I had 2 cokes this week. And some M&Ms. Like I said before, if I have to eat like a rabbit to keep 6 pounds off, then I don't think it will be worth it. I've been going out to eat a little more, which is probably not good.
Still job hunting. I heard back from my interview that they were impressed; I guess it will depend on salary, eh? I was supposed to have an interview back at the bank (different department), but it hasn't happened yet. And I'm still sending out resumes as I find positions. Quite a few more listings than there were six months ago -- a good sign.
I bounced a check yesterday. I thought I had moved some money to cover anything, but I guess I was a day late (or a dollar short? hahaha). Bummer. I thought that check had already cleared; they held it longer than I expected, so I didn't think about it coming in then. I've been trying to keep up with my money better, but when you don't have much coming in, it's hard to get motivated to keep balancing the shrinking checkbook.
My daughter is on a soccer 3v3 team, they have a "tournament" this weekend. 5 games in about 5 hours, she'll be tired.
We rented a video game, "Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King," this weekend. Fun, but not sure I'd play it a lot. It recreates a lot of the fighting scenes (and embellishes a lot of them to add fighting, where the movie / books didn't really have them). You can play as different characters. The fun part is co-operative mode, where you can be one character, and player 2 can be a different character. The fights are easier, since there are 2 of you. I wish it was split-screen, though, so you could be in different places. In one scene, you have to run back and forth on the wall of Helms Deep (I think) trying to keep from getting overrun. However, since you both have to be on the same side, you can't just stake out left or right, you both have to run back and forth. Just makes it a little harder.
That's all for now. Sayonara.
